Anatomy and Physiology

Anatomy:Anatomy is the science of body structure.
Physiology:It is the study of function,or how the body works.
The anatomy and physiology of the body are closely related. Each body part is precisely adapted for carrying out its specific job.For example, the stomach has muscular walls that help into churning and breaking down food. Its lining produces substances that break down food chemically.
Anatomy and physiology are broad fields with many sub disciplines. For example
Gross anatomy focuses on structures that can be studied by dissection.
Microscopic anatomy focuses on structures that can be studied with microscopes.
Cell biology is the study of the structure, function, and interaction of cells.
